2020? We're Plunging Straight In!

By the time you are reading this, we will be well into January and Christmas will be a distant memory (though not, sadly, for our waistlines.)

We have lots planned already for the year ahead, including a half-dozen talks (we will be publicising them, so please do come!) on topics as far ranging as femtech and health, midlife, retail, entrepreneurship and more. The our next one is being held in Chester (listed below) this Saturday. We hope to see some of our fab Cucumber Community there!

Awards, press, pop-ups and some fun suggestions to kick off the year - read on!

Who's the CEO to Watch in 2020?
There's no modest way to say this, so (drumroll) we are thrilled to say that Cucumber Clothing Co-founder, Nancy Zeffman, has been named one of '10 Most Inspiring CEOs to Watch 2020'!  You can read the whole article here. A cracking start to the decade!

Will you be in Chester this Saturday 25th?  If so, come join Cucumber who will be taking part in what is going to be a fascinating panel talk brought together to shine a spotlight on the issue of casual ageism and the impact it has on our society. Organised by lifestyle journalist, Michela Di Carlo, Founder of Crunchy Tales, this one hour event will have a Q&A following. Tickets are available here.

Interested or involved in the retail sector? Join Cucumber who will be speaking at  Smashing 2020  for what will be a brilliant breakfast event at the Café Royal in London on Thursday 13th, February. Perfect for retail industry professionals to 'network, benchmark themselves, and learn more to conquer the business over the next year and beyond.' We hope you'll be there! Details here.

cucumber-clothing-new-collection
Fancy a style and colour change up?  Perfect timing!  We will be launching our newest collection this March using our super soft 37.5 Technology fabric in three colours, Fawn (think Bambi's tummy colour) Paeony (National Trust garden at the height of summer) and Navy (our neutral essential - you'll find you can't live without it!).

New shapes?  We have those too. Everything from smock waisted (oh-so-comfortable) shorts) to a slip on all-in-one that you'll want to wear all day (and night) long. We've been listening to you, and our best selling strappy top now has a built-in bra shelf, for anyone who wants  to feel a bit more secure.

There is a lot more to show you, and we will be posting new pics as soon as samples start getting made.

Is your wardrobe feeling the January Blues?  We highly recommend our Moss V Neck dress, which is so gorgeously comfy to slouch and sleep in, but give it a shake and top and tail it with jacket and boots, and you'll be ready to head out in no time.

Cucumber had a gorgeous Christmassy December, not the least because they spent a day each at The Four Seasons Hampshire and The Grove at their respective Christmas Fairs. It was all glistening lights, baubles and bubbly and made Christmas shopping so simple. See you there next time around!
